- My Favourite Vancouver Day kicks off with tea and a huge breakfast in my kitchen or back deck in Kitsilano, then I wander to Granville Island along the False Creek waterfront and shop the market for lunch - fresh wild sockeye or ahi tuna - before taking the #4 Bus to the shops along W4th Ave. After walking home, I cook up my catch for lunch, then grab my book and head to Kits beach for a nap in the sun. Grab a coffee on the way back to mine, throw all my snow gear in the trunk and hit Cypress Mountain by 4pm for snowboarding under the lights! Awesome. Does it get any better? PS - Never put a straw in my drink. You will regret the consequences.
